Illinois makes progress toward campaign goal

As of June 1 2020, the university was 89 percent towards its most ambitious fundraising goal yet.

GOAL 4: STEWARD CURRENT RESOURCES AND GENERATE ADDITIONAL RESOURCES FOR STRATEGIC INITIATIVES

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s largest, most ambitious philanthropic campaign continues to make significant progress.

As of June 1 2020, the university was 89 percent towards the $2.25 billion fundraising goal, with $2.01 billion raised. This progress includes:

  •  644,189 gifts
  • 151,808 donors
  • 100 countries represented worldwide

The fourth capital campaign in the University System’s history, With Illinois is the first campus-specific campaign. It will support students, faculty, research, and infrastructure and will run through 2022.
